Praying for the lost And Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?” And Paul said, “Whether short or long, I would to God that not only you but also all who hear me this day might become such as I am (Acts 26:28-29)
As you pray for friends, neighbors, and loved ones who have not yet put their faith in Christ, pray with Romans 10:13-17 in mind. In these verses, we see that, faith comes through hearing the Word of Christ. However, God has ordained that his word would go out by the mouths of human messengers. So pray for laborers in the harvest fields. Pray that God would use his people – both here and around the world – as his voice calling lost sheep to return to him.
